Summary of Job Description:


The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for the repair and maintenance of plaza properties and performs lease administration work related to billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. This position coordinates with vendors and tenants on maintenance and repair and helps resolve property repair and maintenance issues independently.The Assistant Property Manager also reviews recurring charges in the property management system (Yardi) for all tenants to ensure charges are accurate and makes billing changes and corrections as needed. This position tracks, reviews, and codes property invoices (e.g., property tax, utility, repair and maintenance invoices) and ensures payment is processed on a timely basis. This position interacts with tenants to ensure repair and maintenance issues are resolved and amounts due to tenants related to the terms of the lease agreement are paid accurately and on a timely basis.



You’ll get a chance to:



  • Assist with repair and maintenance of plaza properties.

  • Support the Property Management Supervisor with ensuring all CFT plazas are maintained and repairs are executed in a timely and cost effective manner.

  • Respond quickly and effectively to tenants to help resolve maintenance issues and coordinates with vendors and tenants on accomplishing basic maintenance and repair.

  • Review lease-related charges/expenses for accuracy, verifying them against the lease and ensures accurate input into the accounting (Yardi) system.

  • Make billing changes and corrections as needed.

  • Track, review, approve, and code all property invoices (property tax, utility, repair and maintenance invoices, etc.) and ensure payments are processed on time.

  • Work closely with the CFT Accounting team on all tenant related billing and payment issues.

  • Interact with tenants to ensure timely and accurate payment of all amounts due related to the terms of lease agreements and ensure repair and maintenance have been provided to tenants’ satisfaction.

  • Bring issues to the attention of the Property Management Supervisor.

  • Work with the Property Management Supervisor and Legal on default tenants and makes recommendations on resolving delinquency issues.

  • Review and analyze property income statements and tenant account receivables to ensure charges are correct and receivables are current.

Your background and experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required

  • Minimum three years of relevant experience required

  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.

  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range P2: $33.00 - $46.50 / Hour
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
