Summary of Job Description:


The Senior Accountant position is responsible for worksheet preparation to assist the Manager, Accounting & Tax with performing account reconciliations and maintaining the general ledger. This position is also responsible for preparing year-end financial data to assist the Manager with investment entities tax return preparation.


You’ll get a chance to:



  • Responsible for assisting manager to prepare year-end financial data and works with outside CPA for year-end investment entities (LLCs) tax return preparation.

  • Responsible for accounts payable for the following: Personal, CFT, Panda Charitable Foundation, Trusts, and Investment Entities. Reviews invoices, bills, vouchers, or other documents and enters them into the applicable accounting software for Urgent check request.

  • Manage and record daily on-line accounts payable activities.

  • Maintain the general ledger for CFT (day-to-day accounting, chart of accounts, and records.

  • Prepare journal entries and ensures accurate and timely posting to the real estate general ledger.

  • Responsible for recording daily fund wire and PRG dividend distribution transactions and ensuring proper documentation.

  • Assist the Manager in preparation of tax return financial packages, quarterly State and Federal estimated tax payments for individual and investment LLC entities and foreign tax reporting for Cherng investments.

  • Maintaining and implementing internal control policies and procedures.

  • Assist in responding to other departments and preparing accounting information upon request.

  • Perform research on various accounting issues and prepares proposed AJE (Adjustment to Journal Entry).

  • Responsible for activities related to accounting system, Yardi and Eton.

Your background and experience:



  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required

  • Minimum five years of relevant experience

  • Successful completion of initial and periodically required trainings.

  • Obtaining a valid Food Handler's Card within 30 days of employment is a requirement of this position.

Pay Range P3: $90,000 - $126,500 / Annual
* Within the range, individual pay is determined using various factors, including work location and experience.
